The Bay Area lost one of its brightest lights this week when we lost San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee. His compassion and generosity, his creativity and drive, his love for San Francisco and its people all combined to fuel his remarkable work.
Over the years, LISC has been deeply grateful for the Mayor’s partnership and support on critical efforts to expand affordable housing and economic development, and for his willingness to share his expertise nationally, helping inform important efforts around the country. His commitment was unshakable, and his legacy of hope and opportunity will live on in our communities for decades to come.
