Eric Uva, Director of Small Business Lending, joined LISC affiliate New Markets Support Company in 2016. He leads the Impact Lending program, a Boston-based small business lending and capacity building program in partnership with Northeastern University. In this capacity, he originates small business loans and provides technical assistance to existing small businesses with a focus on job creation in Boston's underserved communities.
Eric draws from 13 years of capital markets and capacity building experience with small and medium sized businesses. His background includes middle market investment banking at Jefferies, equity and mezzanine funding at American Capital, small business impact investing at Root Capital, and small business lending at Indivisible. He holds a B.A. and B.S. from Boston College and an M.P.P. from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, where he was a Charles Edison Fellow.
