Next Level Housing Solutions: Tackling Income Inequality and Driving Racial Equity

Thank you to the 50+ people who joined the Next Level Housing Solutions Discussion: Tackling Income Inequality and Driving Racial Equity with the Boston Foundation, CHAPA, and LISC Boston this past Wednesday, July 17th.

We started with introductions from Soni Gupta of The Boston Foundation and an informative presentation by Shelly Goehring of theMassachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) on "Exclusionary Zoning: through the lens of Fair Housing.". In small groups, participants discussed:

  • Asset & Wealth Building (including Economic Mobility),
  • Homeownership,
  • Zoning Reform, and
  • Eviction Prevention.

A more detailed summary of the event and the key themes discussed will be shared here at a later date.

Also, if you attended and did not already do so, please take a moment to fill out this brief survey about the conversation and share additional ideas or suggestions for the Next Level Housing Solutions effort.
