LISC works closely with our community partners to create better homeownership opportunities for neighborhood residents. LISC provides funding and resources to several local non-profits whose programs support homeowners in Buffalo, both with aquisition and repairs. Our capacity support funding through HUD's Section IV program allows our partner organizations to expand their staff, providing more support to clients who are pursuing homeownership.
LISC works with these key partners to promote homeownership:

LISC was able to offer a $1 million line of credit to Belmont, thanks to the partial loan guarantee and purchase subsidy provided by the John R. Oishei Foundation, as part of its commitment to the Buffalo Promise Neighborhood effort.
