Local Support Partners

The Buffalo LISC program is supported by local and national corporations, foundations and government agencies who believe in the revitalization of our communities. LISC's unique national-local partnership and its blend of community investment lending and grant-making account for the tremendous leverage and efficiency of locally raised funds. In addition to the financial support, many of our funders also provide important input and guidance to our program and to our public policy initiatives. Our supporters provide the vital resources that enable us to operate a successful program.

Neighborhood Partners

Since 1997 LISC has provided funding, financing and technical assistance to community development corporations (CDCs), other non-profit developers and community development policy/advocacy organizations in the Buffalo/Niagara Region. The groups we work with are developing realistic improvement plans and partnerships that will provide safe and affordable housing, quality child care facilities, new employment opportunities and commercial development.
