Helping Neighbors Build Communities

Connecticut Statewide LISC Is one of over 30 local programs of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), the nation’s largest community development support organization.  Our mission is to help community residents create healthy and sustainable places of choice and opportunity – good places to live, work, raise children and conduct business.

Hartford Land Bank

The Hartford Land Bank, Inc. (the “Land Bank”), a Connecticut nonprofit organization newly established to be a land bank, seeks proposals for consultant(s) (i) to provide it with initial start-up assistance, operationalizing support, and organizational development services, (ii) to develop critical operations and execution policies and procedures to start its work, and (iii) to undertake “set-up” duties and responsibilities, including transitional staffing and additional essential deliverables in Hartford, Connecticut (the “Proposal”). The Land Bank, modeled after land banks in other states, is the first to operate in Connecticut, working closely with the City of Hartford’s Division of Blight Remediation to develop and execute a strategy to eliminate blight and build strong, vibrant, sustainable neighborhoods in Hartford.
