Where We Work
The Connecticut Statewide LISC
program works in a variety of Connecticut communities from
urban neighborhoods to small rural towns.
In urban areas, LISC is assisting community developers to revitalize neighborhoods through the development of affordable housing, homeownership, commercial corridors and child care and other community facilities.
In several suburban and rural towns, LISC is helping CDCs and local resident organizations to develop affordable housing that meets the needs and character of their communities. Currently, LISC is assisting developers with projects in: Bridgeport, New Haven, Stamford, Middletown, New Milford and Waterbury. LISC has also supported work in Glastonbury, Kent, and Trumbull.
