1912 school building remodeled into new rental units and senior center in Spencer, Iowa
Rural LISC provided predevelopment funding to partner CDC Community Housing Initiatives, Inc., in Spencer, Iowa, for the rehabilitation of an unused, former middle school into 16 one- and two-bedroom rental units, with a large senior center. Spencer School Apartments opened January 14, 2010.
