Citizens Bank to invest $120,000 in Olneyville
Citizens Bank Foundation will commit $120,000 to projects that foster economic growth and spur neighborhood revitalization in Olneyville. Rhode Island LISC will invest half of that into existing neighborhood programs.

Citizens Bank Foundation will commit $120,000 to projects that foster economic growth and to investments that contribute to the resiliency of the Olneyville neighborhood.
The program is part of the bank’s Growing Communities initiative, which has already brought similar financial support to communities in Ohio, Michigan and New Hampshire, according to a news release.
The Local Support Initiatives Corporation will invest half of the $120,000 in existing neighborhood programs.
The corporation will use the other $60,000 to support individual grants, each ranging in value from $2,000 to $15,000. Continued[+]...
