As part of the MLK Day of Service, LISC AmeriCorps members teamed up with nearly 190 local Miami students, from Barry University, Booker T. Washington High School and St. Francis Xavier School to spruce up Town Park Village, an Overtown housing project in Miami.

An Overtown housing complex got some TLC from tenants and others over Martin Luther King weekend. By the dozens, the student volunteers converged on Miami's Town Park Village Saturday to help with the next step in its ongoing revival.
