14th Annual Chicago Neighborhood Development Awards
Live Event - February 7, 2008; 2:30 - 8:00 PM
The Chicago Neighborhood Development Awards were established to bring visibility and focus to community-based development in Chicago. By bringing together business, government, real estate, non-profit and philanthropic leaders, the sponsors hope to increase interaction and cooperation and to strengthen and expand neighborhood-based development activities in Chicago.
The Awards recognize outstanding achievement in neighborhood real estate development and community building, especially the achievements of community development corporations (CDCs), other community-based organizations and for-profit developers working to build healthier neighborhoods in the Chicago metropolitan area.
LISC/Chicago is proud to serve as the organizing agency for CNDA and works closely with sponsors and volunteer committees and judges to select award recipients and to produce the annual awards ceremony.

*Performance by The Second City
For the past 13 years, CNDA has explored the challenges and opportunities facing community development in Chicago. This year we offer something completely different—a look at our world through the eyes of the renowned satirists. The Second City, who will perform an original and comical retrospective of the people, places, events, and issues that have shaped community development in Chicago over the last four decades. It's a humorous mirror of our victories, our foibles and just how we appear to the world around us.
