19 Aug 2009 - Gordon Young | The New York Times

Quoted in this article from The New York Times is Michael Freeman, LISC's Senior Program Officer in the Flint office and a resident of Carriage Town. He bought his home--built in 1872 by a transplated New York businessman--in 1994, made $100,000 of renovations including a fireplace from 1790, and converted the home into five apartments. LISC has provided financing for various Carriage Town projects.
