While Obama's State of the Union address stressed the importance of job creation for this administration's domestic economic policy, NCST President Craig Nickerson calls on readers to remember that the housing crisis is far from over and cannot be resolved without continued funding from the federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). LISC is a founding member of the National Community Stabilization Trust, which has led the effort to help neighborhoods hit hardest by foreclosures.
