Profile

Mid South Delta LISC is a community development program of Local Initiatives Support Corporation. We serve 56 distressed counties and parishes in the Mississippi River Delta of Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. We provide training, technical assistance, funding and financing to Community Development Corporations to help them make communities affordable and safe places to live, work, conduct business and raise children.

Mid South Delta LISC is embarking on a comprehensive community development initiative in two areas: Marianna, Arkansas and Greenville, Mississippi. These two neighborhoods have the potential for enormous growth. We have begun the planning process to engage residents and develop feasible work plans. We will also focus our investment in these two neighborhoods and develop stronger community partnerships.
