The MetLife Foundation showed its confidence in and commitment to the CSI model by awarding project funding for the first two demonstration sites, Seattle's International District and East New York, enabling us to get the CSI program off the ground.
Subsequently, the MetLife Foundation enabled another stage of the program's evolution by providing funding to support the new MetLife Community-Police Partnership Awards. Through this awards program, MetLife Foundation and LISC identify and honor partnerships that exhibit tangible accomplishments in their efforts to advance the process, outcome, and/or evaluation of potent police-community collaborations. Most recently, MetLife invested in site expansion by generously committing to support promising partnership in Rhode Island.
