The Obama Administration is developing a new and ambitious commitment to neighborhood revitalization to better support community-based initiatives that produce significant benefi ts for distressed neighborhoods and surrounding areas. A White House statement and webcast in late September did not unveil entirely new programs, but they did frame a broader policy that already involves several current programs.
