The Expert

Bonnie Lester has more than 25 years of experience in finance, housing, economic and community development in the areas of community, commercial and real estate lending, municipal finance, small business lending, real estate development and non-profit management. She has worked in both the public and private sectors with a focus on finance and management as an Executive Director of a Non-Profit CHDO, Commercial Banking Manager, Community Development Lender, Economic Development Director and Commercial Loan Officer. While Executive Director of a non-profit Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), Ms. Lester developed 472 units of affordable rental housing and 16 single family homes in the City of Charleston.
