Webcast on the Sustainable Communities Assessment

In March of 2007, the LISC Board approved an Assessment Plan for the Sustainable Communities Initiative. The Assessment will examine whether and how the SCI has made a difference in the neighborhoods selected for comprehensive approaches to community change.

This webcast explained the overall assessment design, including major research questions, sources and treatment of neighborhood indicators, role of local consultants in qualitative data collection, types of reports that will be prepared, and their potential use in program planning and develpoment.
