The rapidly increasing racial and ethnic minority households encounter unique obstacles in their pursuit for affordable housing and home ownership. This publication highlights recent approaches by financial institutions, community-based organizations, and other housing industry representatives to address the needs of emerging and underserved marktes. The paper presents two case studies from Arkansas and Minnesota that illustrate how strategic partnerships can facilitate economic and social integration of new immigrants.
