Despite the challenging economic and financial turbulence that has shaken all of our collective confidences, Detroit Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a local organization within the national LISC network, is driving change in Detroit's neighborhoods.
LISC is the largest national community development intermediary helping community partners revitalize their neighborhoods. In 2008, a time when the country and particularly Detroit faced unprecedented challenges, at Detroit LISC, we stepped up our financial investment in Detroit's neighborhoods investing more than in any year since our founding in 1990.
