A profile of the National Community Stabilization Trust, published in the Spring 2009 issue of Community Investments Magazine.
LISC and several other national organizations, Enterprise Community Partners, the Housing Partnership Network, NeighborWorks America, La Raza, and the Urban League, have started an intiative to help communities stem the tide of foreclosures. Called the National Community Stabilization Trust, the initiative was set up to provide the expertise, tools and capacity to return Real Estate Owned (REO) properties to home ownership and positive use. A profile of the Trust was recently published in Community Investments Magazine, a publication of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
