This session, sponsored by The Home Depot Foundation, featured nine projects across the country that were honored as exceptional in the American Institute of Architects green affordable design awards program. Experts discussed the integrated green design process, its importance, how it works and can result in savings, as well as reasons to begin before calling an architect. The presentation also highlighted a CDC’s experience with integrated green design projects.
