Detroit Community Development Awards


First established in 2001, the annual Detroit Community Development Awards honor the hardworking residents, small business owners, real estate developers, organizations and others whose vision and leadership transform their communities into good places to live, work, do business, and raise families. Their work has blossomed into bright signs of economic recovery, the resurgence of safe and healthy neighborhoods, and hope on of the faces of those people who call Detroit home.

2018 Detroit Community Development Awards

We are pleased to announce the 2018 Detroit Community Development Awards presented by the Masco Corporation Foundation and co-hosted by Detroit Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Community Development Advocates of Detroit (CDAD), Michigan Community Resources (MCR) and Cinnaire.

Winners will be recognized at the annual Detroit Community Development Awards ceremony on November 8, 2018 at the Grand Riverview Ballroom at Cobo Center in downtown Detroit.
