Stimulating economic activity in the neighborhoods in which we work connects those neighborhoods to the regional economy and beyond. From office buildings to retail corridor revitalization, LISC works with  community development organizations to help create jobs and make it easier for individuals and employers to do business in our target neighborhoods. 

Projects such as the Vernon Manor create jobs, preserve historically important buildings and preserve the vitality of the urban core. Large public projects such as the Washington Park renovation play a critical role in remaking historic neighborhoods.
