Judith Thompson-Morris

Judith Thompson-Morris, Senior Program Officer, came to the Greater Newark & Jersey City LISC in 1995.  Ms Thompson-Morris is responsible for providing technical assistance in addition to underwriting and monitoring loans and grants to CDCs in the cities of Newark and Irvington.  


A planner by training, Ms. Thompson-Morris has worked previously for the City of Jersey City as a Senior Planner in the Planning Department and Project Manager with the City’s Affordable Housing Division.  A member of the American Planning Association, Ms. Thompson-Morris has a Masters of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University.

Robin Brown

Robin Brown, the newest member of the Greater Newark-Jersey City LISC team, joined in May 2009. Ms. Brown is the Sustainable Communities Program Officer and is responsible for coordinating the Greater Newark Neighborhoods (GNN) program. The GNN program is part of the national LISC Sustainable Communities Pilot Program, which comprehensively addresses a wide range of residents’ needs by collaborating with local stakeholders to create and implement a community–based Quality of Life Plan.

Ms. Brown previously worked for the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency and for the Montgomery County Council in Rockville, Maryland. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Goucher College and a Master of  Public Policy from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
