Where We Work

Hartford MapThe Hartford LISC program serves the city of Hartford, Connecticut by promoting the revitalization of neighborhoods throughout the city. LISC helps neighborhood-based CDCs such as Broad-Park Development Corporation and Sheldon Oak Central to serve the needs of their communities.

In those areas where a CDC is not based, LISC supports partnerships between neighborhood organizations and regional or state-wide non-profit developers, such as the Christian Activities Council, Mutual Housing Association of Greater Hartford or Corporation for Independent Living.

These partnerships connect the local initiative of the neighborhood with the development capacity of the experienced developer.

LISC is currently supporting work in Asylum Hill, Barry Square, Clay Arsenal, Frog Hollow, Northeast, Sheldon/Charter Oak, and Upper Albany.
