The Mission
To jumpstart commercial development in urban neighborhoods of Indianapolis and create dynamic models for community–supported revitalization.
Who
FOCUS is an innovative partnership between LISC, the Central Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the Indianapolis Coalition for Neighborhood Development and the City of Indianapolis. This city-wide collaboration is making changes in the planning, advocacy, and delivery of economic development projects. The goal is to build long-lasting relationships that connect neighborhoods with businesses and new resources to revitalize urban markets.
What are the Commercial Corridors?
The Commercial Corridors are districts where people shop, eat, conduct business, and live nearby. The Corridors chosen for revitalization include the following:
- East 10th Street
- 16th Street
- Fountain Square
- Irvington
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street
- North Meridian Street
- West Washington Street

Yes, all funding options are available to qualifying commercial districts in need of revitalization in Indianapolis. Funds are limited, and priority is given to the 7 chosen Commercial Corridors.
