Greater Kansas City LISC and United Way of Greater Kansas City recently welcomed Metro Lutheran Ministry to the Financial Opportunity Center Network. On November 14th, colleagues joined together to celebrate the occasion with a ribbon cutting and open house.

For 47 years, Metro Lutheran Ministry has provided safety net services to thousands of families. As a Financial Opportunity Center site, the organization will now help families increase their household incomes, raise their credit scores and improve their net worth.

Greater Kansas City LISC and United Way of Greater Kansas City have partnered to bring to Kansas City a network of Financial Opportunity Centers (FOC) to help low-income families stabilize their long-term financial outlook.
