Our Investors

Community development brings together more than just a single city. It unites an entire community. Greater Kansas City LISC successfully facilitates partnerships between the public and private sectors. More organizations, civic leaders and government agencies are sharing our vision, and helping us fulfill the financial goals of the communities we serve. It is what we proudly call "progress" in more ways than one.

Greater Kansas City LISC has leveraged local donations 7:1

As part of a national network, Greater Kansas City LISC brings significant financial resources to the table. In fact, all local funds raised by Greater Kansas City LISC are leveraged with a match from National LISC through loans and grants. National LISC funds are invested on a competitive basis, with highly productive and successful local programs - like Kansas City - earning the most.

Greater Kansas City LISC has leveraged local donations 7:1, bringing $7 of national and federal funding to Kansas City for every local dollar raised. These LISC investments have in turn, attracted additional investment into Kansas City urban neighborhoods; the result is more than $610 million in total development as result from combined local and national LISC investments. That's an unparalleled return on local donor gifts.

Greater Kansas City LISC Funding Partners

Thanks to the input, support and donations from our funding partners, Greater Kansas City LISC is able to initiate and support a variety of community development projects. We value their important and sustained commitment. Thank you!
