HEALU Network Summit: Enhancing Community Engagement Practices

Please join the HEALU Network for Part 3 of our four-part summit series, Equity as a Through Line: Social Movements, Public Finance, and Infrastructure Investments for Healthy Communities. Part 3 will cover what it takes to ensure high-quality, equitable community engagement in land use and infrastructure-related efforts.

 Given the long-term nature and technical complexity of many land use issues, building broad community awareness and organizational capacity takes time, intentional effort, and adequate resources. This summit will explore what some of LA's leading community-based organizations and government agencies have learned from the engagement efforts they’ve been involved in, and how engagement can and should look moving forward.
