LA LISC Assistant Program Officer spoke at the recent SCANPH Annual Conference on a panel entitled: Disrupting Decades of Inequity – Race & Homelessness. She spoke about the LISC AmeriCorps program and how it is creating a diverse talent pipeline for the community development field.
“With the demand for sustainable housing increasing, Southern California needs a strong pipeline of talent committed to solving our affordable housing crisis,” said Steve Solk, president of Consumer Banking. “CIT is pleased to support the effort to educate and mobilize the future leaders of our community to tackle this challenge.”
LISC Los Angeles invites our partners to submit an application to host an AmeriCorps member for our next program year, which will begin on October 1, 2018. Applications for members are due Wednesday, July 25, 2018. If you need additional time, please contact Jessca Wakenhut.
