Policy Analyst

The Citizens Housing and Planning Council of New York (CHPC) is seeking a full time Policy Analyst. This is a full-time, salaried position with health, vacation, and retirement benefits.

The Organization
CHPC is a private, non-profit, non-partisan policy research organization which  brings together leading experts in the fields of housing, urban planning, finance, development, architecture, law, and social policy who are dedicated to improving housing and neighborhood conditions through the co-operative efforts of the public and private sectors.  

What you can expect…
Working closely with the Executive Director, other staff, members of CHPC’s Board of Directors, and outside consultants, the policy analyst will carry out long-term research projects, prepare short analyses of urban issues and government programs, and provide quantitative and analytical support to issue-specific committees.   This is an extraordinary opportunity for a recent graduate to join an influential professional staff providing research and analysis on issues related to housing, community development, and urban planning in New York City. Qualifications:
The successful candidate must hold a graduate degree in a field related to urban affairs, such as urban planning, economics, business administration, public policy, or public administration.
