Case Manager, Workforce Development / Construction

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Team Player.
- Self Starter and self directed with ability to follow instructions.
- Strong writing skills.
- Flexibility a must.
- Ability to make presentations to large groups.
- Strong background and experience in the delivery of services to diverse and multicultural populations.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
- Minimum of at least 5 years in job development or case management.
- Experience facilitating job readiness workshops or working with low-income adults with special needs.
- Proven track record of job placements or effective delivery of support services within an employment program.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
JOB DUTIES:
- Refers clients to training programs.
- Stays abreast of current NYC policies.
- Maintains case notes
- Updates progress notes.
- Build portfolio of social service programs for referral.
- Assists and supports participants in construction programs throughout 6 month participation ending with job placement.
- Follow up on intake, placement, and retentions.
- Conducts job readiness workshops
COMPENSATION:
$30,000 (Commensurate with experience)
