Senior Residence Social Worker

Community building economic development corporation located in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn seeks a part time social worker for an independent living facility.  Make a meaningful contribution to this historic community and the generation that build it. Requires experience with low to moderate-income senior residents in a holistic independent living environment.  Proven outreach skills working with related community agencies as well as management of on site wellness programs, horticultural therapy, exercise, and arts and crafts programs needed.  Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid, LCSW, and three years experience with related job requirements.  Commitment, enthusiasm and initiative are essential.  Send letter of interest and resume to cgpierre@bsdcorp.org for complete job description.
