ANNOUNCEMENT: BCJI IS NOW CBCR

October 16, 2017 - The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), in collaboration with LISC, announces that BCJI will now be known as "Innovations in Community Based Crime Reduction" or CBCR.  BJA undertook this rebranding initiative to emphasize the administration’s focus on providing new and effective responses to pressing crime challenges. Further, the name emphasizes the program’s focus on a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to reducing neighborhood level crime.
