LISC 2008 National Staff Meeting
October 21 - 23, 2008

Every year, LISC brings together our staff, experts and leaders from around the country to engage in a national dialog concerning the current issues facing community development, as well as to celebrate achievements in the field.

Philadelphia LISC is hosting this year's National Staff Meeting, and we’re taking advantage of the opportunity to showcase both our community development work and this beautiful city. The meeting will provide a forum for us to examine our ongoing work with neighbors and residents to ensure their communities are becoming good, sustainable places to live, work, do business and raise families. We will be analyzing our progress, identifying challenges and determining evaluative methods to effectively measure our success.

The conference will end with a celebratory gala on Wednesday, October 23 at the Reading Terminal, a historic, local example of urban re-development. Over the course of the meeting, we will also be able to see the impact of the work of Philadelphia LISC and its local partner organizations through neighborhood tours and presentations.
