About National LISC

Philadelphia LISC is a local program of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a national nonprofit community development organization. LISC supports housing and commercial and community development in 30 cities and nearly 70 rural areas nationwide. It identifies corporate, government, and philanthropic support for its affiliates that has resulted in the development of 215,000 homes, 30 million square feet of retail and community space, and the strengthening of thousands of community-based organizations. National LISC matches all private sector investments in Philadelphia – dollar for dollar at a minimum- thereby at least doubling the investment pool.
