By providing capital, technical expertise, training and information, LISC supports the development of local leadership and the creation of affordable housing, commercial, industrial and community facilities.
We truly believe that helping our neighbors build and rebuild communities is the most effective method of change.
In response to a shift in the overall community development field, LISC Phoenix's Local Advisory Committee adopted a three-year strategic plan to develop and implement a dual agenda for revitalizing older neighborhoods that have deteriorated over time as well as planning for new growth. Our Sustainable Communities strategy incorporates three key community development programs: Production, Place-making and Policy/Advocacy.
