Garrett County's Liberty Mews opens in rural western Maryland

Garrett County Community Action Committee (GCCAC) dedicated Liberty Mews, 36 townhomes for the low income work force, at a grand opening and ribbon cutting in Oakland, Md., on August 4, 2011.  The development comprises 12 buildings with 10 two-bedroom and 26 three-bedroom townhomes, just a short walk from the town center.  All models have Energy Star appliances and lighting, garages and private porches or terraces.
