Tierra del Sol Housing Corporation shines in southern New Mexico

Tierra del Sol Housing Corporation (TDS) in Anthony, New Mexico, is a regional housing and community development corporation self-described as purposed to build affordable housing and through that to promote the development of the community.  Their actual scope of services is much broader than that modest description.  There is simply no affordable housing or economic development activity in at least the southern half of New Mexico without TDS.

TDS’ most important achievements during the past year were the unqualified 2009 annual single audit report, that they exceeded the majority of their strategic planned Action Plan projects and services and participating substantially in new urgent national Stimulus (ARRA) programs, i.e., NSP1,2, HPRP, USDA RD 502 pilot, and that they benefited from infrastructure resources.  TDS is one of the seventeen members of the NALCAB coalition which received $137 million in NSP-2 funding.
