Rural LISC Partner CDC Awards

Each year at the Rural LISC Annual Seminar, selected CDCs are honored for outstanding achievement in rural community development during the preceding year.  Rural LISC program staff make selections based on reviewing CDCs' implementation of the goals of LISC's Building Sustainable Communities strategy:  stimulating economic activities; increasing family income and wealth; fostering livable, safe and healthy environments; improving quality education; and developing, preserving and investing in the physical environment.  The awards are created by Rural LISC staff and presented at a gala event.
