LISC offers a generous compensation and benefits package to its employees that includes:
Compensation
Competitive starting salaries that take into account the local labor market and candidates' skills and experience. Our salary ranges are reviewed regularly to ensure that we are on par with similar organizations in the community development arena. Annual performance reviews measure results against goals.
Benefits
Employees are covered for most LISC benefits on the first day of the month following the completion of three months of employment. These benefits include:
- Group Health and Dental Insurance for employees, spouses, eligible dependents and same sex registered domestic partners. Premiums are paid by LISC and employee pre-tax contributions.

- Section 125 Flexible Spending Accounts and Dependent Care Accounts
- Section 132 Transit Commuting and Qualified Parking Accounts
- Retirement Plans 401(k) and 403(b) retirement plans with pre-tax employee contributions from date of hire. Employer contributions become effective on the first day of the month after one full year of employment.
- Tuition Reimbursement LISC will provide reimbursement of up to $1,500 per calendar year for approved job-related certificate courses and for courses related to a degree program.
- Time Off
LISC believes in work/life balance and offers the following time-off benefits:
- Personal Days – 3 per year – effective with start date
- Vacation – three weeks in first year – which may be taken after six months and are prorated based on start date. Four weeks thereafter.
- Sick Days – 10 per year – pro-rated based on start date in first year of employment
- Parental Leave – paid leave of four weeks. One full year of employment to be eligible
- Holidays – 11 paid days
