Green Development ProfilesThe Green Development Center is proud to launch the newest section of our website- the LISC Green Development Profiles. This page has been designed to feature snapshots of each of LISC’s 30 local offices’ green development work, as well as easily navigable routes for learning more about socially equitable, environmentally sustainable community development at the local level. From green building to urban agriculture to deconstruction to transit oriented development, each green development profile contains a highlighting of three to four key projects and a link to a longer, more detailed profile in an archive. Whether you are looking to familiarize yourself with green development strategies or seeking information on a particular LISC local office’s work, this site contains both brief summaries and links to larger overviews of the information you need. Please keep in mind that these profiles are continual works in progress, updated approximately every six months to keep pace with the progress of our local offices. So check back often, and feel free to contact us directly to learn more about how LISC is an active purveyor of comprehensive green development and making sustainable communities happen.
