This unique structure enables LISC to achieve an impact that is truly remarkable.
On the ground, we have staff members in local offices nearly everywhere that LISC-supported community development takes place. They work with local community development organizations to identify local priorities and challenges and deliver the most appropriate support--financial and organizational--to meet local needs.
Nationally, LISC fields experts in the most vital community issues facing our neighborhoods. These national experts provide technical assistance to our local office staff and practitioners in local community organizations, and participate in policy efforts of the community development industry.
LISC's new Building Sustainable Communities program is being implemented by all programs, locally and nationally.
