Join us for the 5th annual LISC Story Slam, an evening of storytelling to lift up community voices, celebrate our recent achievements, and cheer on our future vision to forge resilient and inclusive communities of opportunity across Massachusetts. The theme of this year’s event is Common Wealth, a nod to an exciting announcement we’ll be making about our expanding strategic focus across the state.

Meet LISC Boston’s new Executive Director, Gustavo Quiroga, connect with community development & business leaders, hear from Honored Guests, and enjoy great food from local chefs.

Meet the Storytellers

Story Slam is a unique event that breaks the mold of traditional fundraisers. We share the impact of our work through the powerful words of the event’s community storytellers in a format inspired by poetry slams and “The Moth” podcast.

Four community and program partners will take the stage for 3-5 minutes each to tell a true, personal story that offer perspectives on the meaning of our Common Wealth theme and how it relates to LISC’s work creating more affordable housing, growing an equitable economy for all, and preparing communities and public housing for our climate and energy future across Massachusetts.
