Community development corporations (CDCs) revitalizing
their neighborhoods often face great physical and financial challenges. LISC
provides support to these resident-led organizations – to ensure their vision
becomes reality.
It’s more than just houses. While LISC works in close partnership
with nonprofit, community-based organizations to develop quality, affordable
housing in Toledo, we also encourage the commercial redevelopment and economic
development initiatives that stimulate job creation and retention and create
thriving neighborhoods.
