Come hear the inspiring story of the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation (BSRC), the nation's first community development corporation founded by Senator Robert Kennedy. BSRC owns and manages Restoration Plaza, a 300,000 square feet commercial and cultural center in the heart of Central Brooklyn. Under Grannum's leadership, Restoration Plaza is going through a major transformation into a genuine "town center" with the addition of the Billie Holiday Theatre, the Skylight Gallery, and several major retailers that have recently become tenants.
