Renovation of lease-to-purchase first floor condominium space at 1700 Kalorama Road to expand music, dance, drama, writing and visual arts programs for at-risk children, youth, and their families. LISC is providing a $400,000 guarantee for a $400,000 District of Columbia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) loan to enable the Sitar Center to complete the renovation of its space and to purchase the property (The Patricia M. Renovation and conversion to a 22-unit limited equity cooperative at 1848 Columbia Road, NW. The tenants worked with Mi Casa, Inc. to purchase the building, and renovations are underway. LISC provided a $49,000 recoverable grant for predevelopment costs. (Mi Casa, Inc.)
LEDC Headquarters
