Each LISC site is supported by a Local Advisory Committee (LAC), composed of leaders from diverse backgrounds in real estate development, government, banking, law, advocacy and non-profit management.

The Washington DC LAC, chaired by Richard Snowdon, Esq. of Trainum, Snowdon & Deane, sets policies for program operations and maintains oversight to ensure the integrity and success of our investments. LAC members also review and approve loans and grants, act as a spokesperson for LISC and provide resources.

LAC meetings are held quarterly, supplemented by monthly subcommittee meetings that focus on specific program actions, communications and fundraising.
