Acquisition of a vacant apartment building that will be converted to a 51 unit single room occupancy property. LISC provided a $735,000 acquisiton loan. (So Others Might Eat)
* 730-736 Chesapeake St. SE 
Acquisition of a newly renovated
24 unit building that will provide
housing for 22 very low income families. LISC provided a $1.7 Million acquisition loan in partnership with Open Door Housing who provided the match from the City's SAFI program. (So Others Might Eat)
* Brandywine Street Association 
Acquisition of a vacant building on the 700 block of Brandywine Street, SE to develop a neighborhood community center. The center will house a child care center, after-school programs, the offices of the association, and counseling services. LISC provided a $30,000 recoverable grant for predevelopment costs.
